Vicuna, possible to release executables?

Would it be possible to release Vicuna as an executable? I'm finding the compilation with the ncbi toolkit demoralising. 

I get these sort of messages when compiling Vicuna, and I'm not sure if it is my ncbi setup or the makefile with vicuna:-

Hi Jacob, 

A folder named "executable" is added to the Vicuna package,

which contains a static exe file that should work under linux 64 bit system.

Hi, Vicuna analysis does not require NCBI toolkit, it should be easy to be compiled on Linux platform. So, we did not provide the executable. -Xiao

Any chance of providing an executable that will run on Mac OSX? Many potential Vicuna users do not have linux systems, and an execuatble on a mac/unix platform would really help.  I have similar issues with the NCBI building as many other users here.

Really appreciate the tool though, it's exactly what we need!
