Our next meetup will take place on June 24th. What shall we do?

If anyone would like to present something, then please get in touch. Alternatively, we could do some kind of a hands-on session, like the VimGolf and learn Vimscript by TDD events we’ve done in the past.

I’m repeating myself (from an email in February), but here are some topics that I’d still love to hear about at Vim London if anyone has enough experience to talk about them.

A couple of projects have emerged recently that aim to help with writing Vim plugins. I’m thinking of Riml by Luke Gruber, and Makataba from Google(!):

One of the Googlers behind maktaba made this analogy: “maktaba is like underscore.js and RimL is like coffeescript” (on reddit.com/r/vim).

Has anyone here got their hands dirty with Riml or Maktaba (or both)? Would you like to talk at VimLondon about your experiences with them? I’d love to learn more about both of these projects.
