vim.org STILL fails to redirect to www.vim.org

For the love of Web accessibility, please do whatever is necessary to have vim.org redirect to www.vim.org. Broken domains suck.

That has been discussed several times. Quick solution: always use www

For me it does. But it may be because Mozilla browsers (SeaMonkey and,
I think, Firefox) try pefixing www. by default when the raw domain
name isn't found.

See the following preferences in about:config (which, in SeaMonkey,
have default values as shown):

browser.fixup.alternate.enabled
true
browser.fixup.alternate.prefix
www.
browser.fixup.alternate.suffix
.com

Non-Mozilla browsers may or may not have a similar mechanism,
depending on the browser.
