Broken [ and ] marks?

This was just posted on the Vim wiki on a tip using `[ and `]:

`[v`] and `[V`] don't seem to work at least in Vim 7.4.443 and later.

Instead of selecting the last pasted text, it works similarly to gv or it selects the entire buffer if no previous selection has been performed.

To implement the same functionality in those versions, `<v`> and `<V`> instead seem to work.

I only have 7.4.430 at the moment, can anyone confirm whether or not this is a real issue? I personally doubt something like THAT would have been broken in the last 13 patches, but hey, it could happen.

I don't see it in 7.4.430, Windows 64-bit version.

The plugin I found that broke this was vim-auto-save. They dont have any issue tracking on github so into the trash it goes.
