Hi,

I'm starting to get realy good response about my mesh network plans.
Several city's in Belgium have send requests for more information.
As i prefer to make the mesh 100% open source i would like to use
MP02-AWD's.
Do you have any idea when these are available ?
For this project i will NOT need the FXS interface.

Hi Michel,

The production of the MP2 AWD is dependent on the progress/sales of the MP2 Phone.  We've had several debugging delays related to the production of the FXS subsystem.  Until the MP2 Phone is in production, I can't really give you a good estimate.

Is there any reason you might not use the MP2 basic in an outdoor enclosure?

Have you discarded the idea of dual radio devices?  Are you going to use 5GHz for the backbone?

Cheers... Steve

I found out its legal to use channel 12 and 13 in Belgium, which nobody uses.
this allows me to build the mesh with 2.4Ghz gear.
I"m hoping the MP02AWD will look much better than most outdoor enclosures.
also, the use of an extra enclosure generates waste (the indoor enclosure).
