As I understand, the 11g setting will allow the router to fallback to 11b if required for compatibility with an 11b device.
We have not included the 11b setting in SECN firmware UI, but you can set in manually in /etc/config/wireless if you have a specific need to use it.
In BB firmware the available settings have been changed to just 11b, 11g and 11a and the HT settings enable N operation as required.
