[Sync] Verticle deployment failing with java.lang.IllegalStateException: Not on event loop

Hi,

We are trying vert.x upgrade to 3.3.2 using Sync in embedded mode. Please have a look at https://gist.github.com/anonymous/4423c23b592c70bad993015495977d1a for source code and output.

$java -version

java version "1.8.0_73"

Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_73-b02)

Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.73-b02, mixed mode)

$java -javaagent:$CD/lib/vertxlibs/quasar-core-0.7.5-jdk8.jar au.edu.vu.its.as.vertx.VertxFacade > x 2> x2

Basically while installing simple Sync Verticle using above command we are getting "java.lang.IllegalStateException: Not on event loop"

Also we are getting [quasar] ERROR: Unable to instrument class io/vertx/spi/cluster/hazelcast/HazelcastClusterManager

please let us know what we are doing wrong.

we are getting the same problem using zookeeper as well.

it seems the problem occurs when using Vertx.clusteredVertx
