Hey!

Some folks here at ReadyTalk are looking at developing a new tool to let people do remote whiteboarding and collaboration with their coworkers. We'd love to get your feedback on our high-level concept, which focuses on making it a less painful experience for remote workers.

If this is something you've struggled with, would you be willing to check out our landing page, and sign up if it's something you'd be interested in?

Thanks,

Alison

Yes. I believe this concept helps not only with remote teams, but also with offshore teams. A picture really helps get a point across if there are language barriers.

Signed up for the beta.

I signed up but didn't receive a follow-up email? If that's not in your workflow, it would be nice to add a follow-up email to let us know we're signed up with a teaser of the cool things to come :). We have a very distributed team and are always looking for better remote collaboration tools.

My apologies... I posted this as requested by one of our Product Strategists. It was, however, a bit of a ruse. It's a technique right out of Lean Startup methodology commonly called the "Landing Page Test". It's intended to measure market interest in a product or idea... without actually building the product. Alas when I posted this request I wasn't aware that was her purpose, otherwise I would have couched it a bit differently.

And so, my apologies if you got your hopes up that there's a shiny new remote whiteboarding solution available. Alas, it's still in the distant future along with the hoverboards Back to the Future promised us. ;) I'll make sure to ask a few more questions next time I receive a similar request.

LLAP,
Alison

Ah. Thought that might be the case when there was no follow-up. Then those of us expecting to test something as a favor may or may not actually be interested in the tool, and could skew her results.
