The National Institute of Nursing Research (NINR) has released the newest NIH PA to accept R15 applications. NINR is interested in projects that address the synergy between omics (i.e., transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics, microbiomics) and symptom science, in order to reduce the burdens associated with chronic illness and enhance personalized health. Applications deadlines have been set for February 25, June 25 and October 25 for the next three years

The R15 program (also known as the Academic Research Enhancement Award) enables qualified scientists at colleges and universities to obtain support for small-scale ($300,000 total) research projects.
