Open Society Foundations supports individuals pursuing innovative and unconventional approaches to fundamental open society challenges, and seeks to fund work that will enrich public understanding of those challenges and stimulate far-reaching conversations in the world at large.
Projects include publications such as books, reports, or blogs; public-education projects; or the launch of new campaigns or organizations. Fellows also may engage in activities such as hosting panel discussions, traveling to conferences, and participating in policy debates.
Stipends are either $80,000 or $100,000.
The deadline is February 1.
