If there's interest, I could put together a presentation on Scalaz or Shapeless. Scalaz provides support for type classes for greater modularity and libraries for working with higher-level abstractions such as monads and functors. Shapeless allows polytypic, polymorphic, arbitrary-arity function values, as well as typed heterogeneous collections.
So our February meeting is schedule to happen on Wednesday, February 5th @ 5:30. But that this point we don't have any presentations scheduled. Anyone out there interested in presenting? A couple of subjects that I think would be of some interest to the group are as follows:
