All,

The State Department will be using the GovUp platform to host a live discussion of the proposed 2016 State Department Open Government Plan on Thursday, September 1 at 2pm.  Given the types of questions we've received so far during the discussion, we'll plan on having a representative from ForeignAssistance.gov) and from eDiplomacy (with regard to collaborative platforms like GovUp). I will be participating, and we may also have participation from the office coordinating our Open Data effort.  We will be receiving questions in writing and responding through and audio/video feed using Google Groups and YouTube technology.

It will be possible to watch the event, without asking questions, on YouTube at the following link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o87ay_6UpH8

To ask questions, participants will need to have registered on the GovUp platform.  The link for the live event is https://govup.course.tc/2016-DoS-OGP/live-events/

We're hoping to both answer questions about the Open Government Plan and test this as a platform for public engagement.

Regards,

Andre
