I don't think I've seen this mentioned here, but FDIC somewhat recently redid their "bank find" app, shifting it to an API-based architecture. As I understand it, they are working on getting some API documentation out next.

Ben, that's great news.  This is the first public API I've seen out of FDIC.  I'd love to follow up with the team to help any with API documentation and getting something up at fdic.gov/developer.

p.s.  Ali, Thanks for sharing the mashup, too. I just opened an issue suggesting that the Open.FDA.gov site include an app gallery to highlight 3rd party re-use of their APIs.
