Hi.

Some Umple news:

1. The Umple user manual, located at http://try.umple.org is now much
improved. The examples can now be loaded into UmpleOnline with one click,
and almost all the important end-programmer/modeller features of Umple are
now documented. Further improvements should be forthcoming.

2. Umpleonline has had some upgrades. There are now three methods of
saving your files (see
http://cruise.site.uottawa.ca/umple/UsingUmpleOnline.html )
Most notably you can save models in URLs of two types, so you can embed
links to UML or to code in documents. One type of URL stores your model
on the server for collaborative editing, the other encodes the model
directly in the URL.

3. Umple news will continue to be posted to the um...@googlegroups.com
mailig list every month or so, but for more frequent updates, please go to
our Facebook page at: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Umple/183782168343341
Please consider 'liking' that page, as it gives us visibility.
I will also add lengthier news entries to my blog at http://blog.umple.org

4. Umple is now listed on the Open Source Directory at
http://www.opensourcesoftwaredirectory.com/index.php#Developers_App+Development_UML+tools
Please consider starring the entry there, since it will also improve
visibility

I am posting this to the umple-dev list as well. If users are interested
in becoming more involved, you can subscribe to that list.
