Hi,

Thanks for this! I was not aware, but had thought about it for a long
time and anticipated it.

We have been planning to migrate away anyway. The biggest obstacle has
been the extensive wikis and issues list. Google says they will migrate
them to Github, but we may find it incomplete and difficult to accomplish
in conjuction with the existing github pags.

This is not the only Google shutdown. Over the years they regularly have
shutdown popular services.

And other services mirroring Umple have shutdown too. Github is the only
reliable holdout.

One wonders if one day Github will suddenly shut down.

I am not bothered about Umple; we have lots of paths forward. But a lot of
other code will 'go dark' never to be seen again.

My plan will be to see if we can get ourselves into Eclipse as an officual
project with a Github mirror. Plans have been in the works to do this, but
I have held off due to other priorities.
