Hi,

As you know, we cut over to github and git recently, and you were told to
clone https://github.com/umple/umple instead of using svn
in order to get the Umple source code.

However, if you want to build successfully, there are two more things to
do.

1. Go to the lib directory, download
http://www.umple.org/UmpleLibForBuild.zip
and uncompress it. This will put back all the binary files that we are no
longer saving in git.

2. Now go to the 'dist' directory and copy lib/umple.jar there.

After this, Umple should build as before.

Additionally, the CruiseControl configuration management server is
continuing to run (I have made it point to the git repo!) After pushing
to the master branch in git (or merging pull requests) You may need to
trigger a manual build on it though I am not confident yet that it
will pick up changes automatically.

Kevin and Andrew are working on more sophisticated technology, but the old
tech seems still to be working.

For the new UCOSP students the above is 'not enough' to get going; the
above is mainly for the seasoned veterans such as my grad students.
