ACARS Reception

Hi
Anyone in this group has tried ACARS reception using RTL SDR USB dongle,SDR# and acarsd-1.60 or any other combination(hw/sw). If yes, could some one share the audio file for ACARS reception so that i could try with acarsd s/w.

Good antenna + E4000 + HDSDR (AM mode) + Virtual Audio Cable + PlanePlotter = very good result
Good antenna + E4000 + HDSDR (AM mode) + Virtual Audio Cable + Acarsd = 30% of previous

Hi, if you are using raspberry pi, Linux or UNIX based OS. Can run acarsdec http://sourceforge.net/projects/acarsdec/
Follow this tutorial (kalibrate process is optional) http://www.satsignal.eu/raspberry-pi/acars-decoder.html
It works either with RTL-SDR or scanner receiver (soundcard is mandatory when using scanner receiver).
