Hello,
I created both a bundle and a keylayout starting with the U.S.International bundle. With a minor modification.

Neither of them appears in the Keyboard preferences panel/Input sources tab.

I installed them both in my ~/Library/Keyboard Layouts folder and in the Library/Keyboard Layouts folder at the root of my computer. I am running my MBP under  OS 10.11.6  El Capitan.
I tried this also on my wife MBP under Sierra (same places). Again, not showing.

Any explanation or tips, please?

Thanks,
Alain

1. Did you restart your computer?
2. If you go to sys prefs/keyboard/input sources and press + button, can you see it somewhere, including under OTHERS? The new keylayout does not show up automatically, it must be activated as described.

Hi Alain,

Sorry to ask, but in the Prefs/Input sources tab, did you click the + (at the bottom) to add a new keyboard layout to the list on the left?
After that, you click your layout’s language (English, I guess) to see all available layouts for that language in the list on the right.

Another possibility is that you forgot to modify the keyboard layout’s system name, and it’s still "U.S."
Open the layout in Ukelele, then go to Keyboard / Set Keyboard Name and Script…

As Sorin mentioned, logging off and back on should be a standard step after installing a keyboard layout.

Keep us posted…
