"A man says he was hit in the face when he confronted three teenagers riding scooters on the pavement. The 44-year-old man was left with a "bloody mouth" after the assault in Newland Avenue, Hull. Now, police want to speak to this boy in connection with the incident.
A police spokesman said: "Officers are appealing for help identifying a boy following an assault on Newland Avenue, close to the junction with Reynoldson Street, between 1pm and 2pm on July 20.
"A 44-year-old man was walking along a busy high street when he confronted three teenagers who were riding scooters along the footpath.
"Following a brief argument one of the boys allegedly stuck the victim in the face leaving him with a bloodied mouth. Police have released a CCTV still of the teenager (boy in sun glasses) they would like to speak too (sic)."
