Or there might be one-way valves which have clogged up and become no-way
valves, in which case removing them from the car and using de-scaler on them
may help.
Also, make sure you have little black cable ties to secure the tubes
afterwards.

Handy tip - those little ultrasonic cleaners are ideal for cleaning bits
like this.
I had a blocked jet on the Passat a few weeks back - one cycle in the
cleaner and it was good as new.
