'ello

Photos taken with my new toy at the Mish gig last night are now up on
<http://www.darkfire.co.uk>
in not surprisingly the photos section.

They are all fairly low quality for speed - if anybody wants a copy of
any let me know and I'll email you the original.

See ya

Nah I emailed them direct to you to do that ;-)

I thought I'd have seen you hanging around trying to blag it or buy a
ticket although I didn't see anyone selling and got asked if I had any
spare by a few people.

I posted a message to the mish board, The thing that got me is why are the
mission playing the fleece when they could sell out a venue (eg the
bierkeller) twice as big.

There not a pub band so whay are they playing the pubs?

Probably coz they felt like it I s'pose. We saw them play the Army &
Navy
in Chelmsford a couple of years ago (that holds about 350-400 people)
and
it's nice to see bands of that size playing cosy venues now and again.
Maybe they wanted to get 'close to the people' again!

Anyway, Astoria last night... f***ing great, good to hear the new stuff
played alongside the old and sounding just as good, particulary liked
hearing 'Knackered Old Sausage' again. A blinder, and the red hair
looked
good too. No photo's though, sorry.

Probably because Wayne's been to Bristol before and knows the Bierkeller
isn't a good venue, unless of course you want your band to sound like
they're playing underwater.
