As per last year, the main entertainment was a useless young woman, who has
walked out/been sacked after one week. Let's hope there's still something to
watch though.

Rowland Rivron is consistently funny. I don't know why he's not in more
stuff - maybe he's lazy. He certainly deserves a chat show more than Davina
or Chavlotte Church.

He's good on Jammin' on Radio 2, and last week's show was particularly
worthy as Phil Nichol was on it (most recently he's been in Annually
Retentive, which I didn't like but I saw him do a preview of his
Edinburgh show "The Naked Racist" and he was fantastic).

Loved the song about the clown this week :)

I seem to recall a chat show Rowland did in the early 90's? that was
set in the river thames with floating furniture and one guest was Wendy
James (Transvision Vamp)

Then again it could have been a dream!

nope I remember it as well, think Adam Woodyatt was also a guest on it,
although Rowland was fairly funny (got alot better since IMO), the guests
always looked utterly petrified floating/sinking in the middle of this river
in the dark.

Well, he was shagging the talentless bint at the time. He also played
the drums for the band from time to time, including their appearance on
Going Live/Live and Kicking, whichever it was, at a time when he was
best known as Dr Martin Scrote, but introduced by Philip Schofield as
"Dr Martin".

I don't remember that, but I think I remember him hosting a
desert-island-discs type programme which pretended to be set in a bunker
after a nuclear war. The only episode I remember had Mel Brooks as the
guest.

No idea. Don't watch it, but talking of gone, in last Friday's Ally Ross
column in the Sun, he mentioned this show because some time ago the boss of
Five said he was scrapping any more reality TV on the channel because he
thought it had had its day...

So why is TMIAHR on? Because that boss of Five is now gone too.
