A couple years ago I had the idea that I could restore a lathe that belonged to my Great Grandfather. Well, I have lost interest and decided the lathe might be in better hands with someone more experienced with it. I can't tell you much about the lathe other than it is about 12"x36". And it has a nameplate on it with the name Worchester Lathe Co. I am guessing somewhere around 1920 - 1930?

It has a face plate, 4 jaw chuck, steady rest and tail stock.

I did find a website with similar pictures here: http://vintagemachinery.org/mfgindex/detail.aspx?id=2506&tab=4

I haven't powered it on because I dont know how to operate it, but I am told by my father that it works fine.

So, is anyone interested in a free lathe? I would really like to see it go to someone that would use it, and even better would be for someone to restore it. Pictures are attached.
