Posting images on Twister

Hello.

Is it possible to post images on Twister or does the technology not support that yet?

If not, is it possible to hotlink images from image bucket websites and get them to be displayed via Twister?

Is it also possible to embed videos from Youtube, vimeo, soundcloud and other video tube websites?

Once these are achieved I think this will be a legitimate Twitter alternative.

post size is limited to a few hundred bytes, so you would hardly be able to post images. this is not a technology limitation on itself, but rather a forced limitation: i wanted to prevent attacks such as denial-of-service where one would store arbitrarily large files (images) on your node.

increasing limits is something that should be well thought. for example: in the first few days after twister went public some guy started storing 1MB blocks into everybody's computers due to an unenforced limit. in a few hours he got 700MB of trash (this has been fixed already)

yes. twister-html supports it already (check setup page).

yes. there is no particular limitation for that.
