 AT&T and UW-Stout’s Vocational Rehabilitation Institute are teaming up to host a “Developer Day” on campus on Saturday, May 16, as part of the AT&T NYU Connect Ability Challenge.

Come learn how you or your tech company can compete for $100,000 in cash prizes by creating technologies that assist people with disabilities.

This competition is open to tech companies with 50 or fewer employees.

 Bring your ideas to UW-Stout’s “Developer Day” on Saturday, May 16, and learn how you can compete. Complimentary food and beverages will be served.

WHAT:  AT&T and UW-Stout's Connect Ability "Developer Day" 

WHEN: Saturday, May 16, 2015

TIME: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

WHERE: Memorial Student Center (CedarMaple Room), UW-Stout, 302 10th Avenue East, Menomonie, WI 


To qualify, your solution must have a software component.Submissions are due by 4 p.m. CST on Wednesday, June 24. Winners will be announced on Sunday, July 26, in New York City.

UW-Stout’s “Developer Day” is part of the AT&T and New York University Connect Ability challenge launched in honor of the
25th Anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act. The challenge is a 3-month global competition for participants to design software, wearable devices and other technology solutions aimed at enhancing the lives of people with disabilities.
