VPN connects but no internet

HI

I am a total newbie to VPN and Just set up open VPN on ASUS router

Works with open VPN apps on iPhone and IPAD

I am able to connect to the VPN with MAC OSX 10.9.5 and get into the router and my home network but unable to access the internet.

Several times the internet would work briefly for a single website but then stop working.

Already checked the DNS and that does not seen]m to be the problem.

Please see the log below

Found the answer on another website and it had to do with adding a line into the custom configuration:

push "dhcp-option DNS 192.168.0.1"

after adding this line it works perfectly
