After I clicked on the connect button, it just told me to check the log, which was:

This:
\

Options error: Bad http-proxy-option or missing parameter: 'EXT1'

means that OpenVPN saw an http-proxy-option which had a parameter 'EXT1', which is not a valid parameter to the 'http-proxy-option' option.

So somewhere in your configuration file (or perhaps pushed from the server), there is a line something like:
http-proxy-option EXT1
but that is not valid.

Consult with OpenVPN resources:

Just a quick heads-up that I have a similar problem: While I can still connect with v3.6.5 to my VPN, 3.6.7 fails to connect. Rebooting did not help, downgrading did. Running on 10.11.6.

I have no time right now to get more details but just wanted to chime in that it appears something broke in recents updates for quite a few users, apparently.

I doubt that you have the same problem as Eric -- an invalid parameter in your configuration file. If you did, version 3.6.5 would not work, either.

When you have time, please create a new discussion (assuming you have a different problem) and post the "diagnostic info" from following the instructions in Before You Post, using both v3.6.5 and v3.6.7.

It would also be helpful know if you can connect using Tunnelblick v3.6.6.
