Hi,

I am trying to connect to a OpenVPN server but I have the following error: 

NOTE: unable to redirect default gateway -- VPN gateway parameter (--route-gateway or --ifconfig) is missing

My configuration file is the following:

This looks more like an OpenVPN configuration problem than a Tunnelblick problem. Try consulting OpenVPN experts:
