Tunnelblick is connected to vpnbook but it doesn't change anything

Hello all,

I'm using my school's ethernet connection almost everyday it requires changing the proxy settings from the settings panel to be able to use internet.

I'm trying to bypass this proxy (because it blocks almost everything) by using tunnelblick with the free vpnbook, I couldn't connect it at first when I was using tcp but when I used udp on port 80 I was able to get connected to vpnbook.

The problem now is that it doesn't change anything from before, I'm still blocked by the school's proxy.

If anyone has an idea how to fix I'd really appreciate it.
