Tunnelblick logs invalid password

I have to create a VPN connection by Tunnelblick. After inserting the key password the log file shows an error that the password would be invalid. I am sure the password is the right one. If I use a terminal and try to establish the connection with openvpn command and the option --config config-file the connection is established successfully with the same password. The MAC's OS is Yosemite (Version 10.10.2).
Could anyone explain why Tunnelblick doesn't accept the password while the openvpn command does?
