Tunnelblick hangs at "Authorizing" after update to Mac Sierra

Hi All,

Quite a novice here but have been using Tunnelblick for a couple of years with no problem. I updated my Mac toSierra last week and had issues connecting to UK servers. Thought it may be a version issue so updated Tunnelblick to version 3.6.7.c (Build 4606) but still have the same issue(even after updating the list of servers). Below is a copy of the log - I have copied part only as it keeps repeating.

I understand that it could be something trivial that I have missed but haven't a clue where to start - any guidance is much appreciated......thanks!!

This probably has to do with an updated version of OpenSSL in recent versions of Tunnelblick. Perhaps it is incompatible with an older version on the HideMyAss servers.

You need to contact your VPN service provider, apparently HideMyAss. That is the organization which gave you your configuration files, and perhaps a username and password, and to which you are probably paying a fee for VPN service. For more information, please see  Getting VPN Service.

Tunnelblick is just the free software that many VPN service providers recommend or supply to their customers. We do not provide VPN service, just software.

Earlier versions contain multiple serious security vulnerabilities in OpenSSL.

If you post the diagnostic information (from your current version) described in Read Before You Post, we can probably determine the version of Tunnelblick you used before you updated and I could send you a copy of that (although it should be in your Trash if you updated Tunnelblick normally). However, as you described it, that version did not work either, so you will most likely need a solution provided by HideMyAss anyway.
