"System Requirements Not Met"

Hi, I am trying to install Tunnelblick on my MacBook Pro with MacOs Sierra 10.12.5. 

I keep getting an error message that says "The applications system folder (/applications) is not secure." 

Has anyone figured out how to fix this?
