Hi,

everytime when i wake up my macbook pro 10.13.2 with Tunnelblick 3.7.5beta05 (build 4980)

I face authentication failed though my credentials are right and if I click try again. Everything turns fine.

I had Stable Tunnelblick 3.7.4b and uninstalled it. Tried with beta still has same issue.

Please post the diagnostic info you obtain from following the instructions at Read Before You Post.

This may be related to https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/tunnelblick-discuss/oUeCJa52ImA. Please try the workaround used there.

Thanks for posting the diagnostic info.

I think this is a problem related to waking up, instead of a problem with authentication per-se.

Please copy/paste the following into /Applications/Utilities/Terminal:

defaults write net.tunnelblick.tunnelblick delayBeforeReconnectingAfterSleep -float 20.0

That will change the time Tunnelblick waits after waking up before trying to connect (when not checking for IP address changes). The default is 5.0 seconds; so 20 should be a good test. If it works, try smaller numbers until it stops working, then bump it up a bit.

To return to using the default, copy/paste:

defaults delete net.tunnelblick.tunnelblick delayBeforeReconnectingAfterSleep

Hi,

I tried setting delay time to 10sec, 20 sec, sec , none of them helped.

Also, I am receiving a error from application UI for multiple times during connection, please check screenshot.

New log is attached as well.

You must fix the problem in the window first.

The message usually means that Tunnelblick is using a version of OpenVPN that is not compatible with your configuration file. That is, the situation described in the long paragraph of the window.

Hi,

Thank you for the suggestions.

Could you please suggest, how to find suitable version from log or conf file as I have same conf file on my  windows machine with openvpn gui 2.4.4.I601 and there is no such issue.

Just try the different versions in your version of Tunnelblick and see if one works. There are two or three versions of OpenVPN; each comes in two flavors: with OpenSSL and with LibreSSL.

Please post the info from Before You Post if you want more help. (The logs you have posted are too limited in scope to help most problems.)
