How to exclude tags in Tumblr search api?

I tried like this https://api.tumblr.com/v2/tagged?tag=picnic%20-lunch but i am getting picnic lunch tags also

Hi Lekha,

Sorry, we don't currently support negative tag matches. The best solution possible is to just iterate through the posts returned for `picnic` and strip out any that contain a tag of `lunch`.
