I'm building an API wrapper for Tumblr.  Because the conversations and messaging endpoints are not documented in the API spec, I did a capture on my phone running the app.  I found a variety of endpoints under `/api.tumblr.com/v2/conversations/unread_messages_count` and `/api.tumblr.com/v2/BLOG/notifications`.

However, it would seem that the normal process of authenticating / sending a request to this endpoint does not work, as I'm either greeted with a `404` error or `401` when specifying a user agent.

My only guess is that these endpoints are restricted to the consumer keys found in the official Tumblr apps - is this true?  If so, when might we expect these endpoints to be publicly accessible?

Hey Alexander,

Thanks for the feedback. We are definitely considering this for future updates to the API. However, currently, we do not have any timeframe to report.

Regards,
