Modular show tonight (6/03): M Geddes Gengras at Vox Populi

Kudos to Stefano, Eugene et al for taking the group forward as a message board.
I'm writing to let you all know that the talented modular synth composer and performer M Geddes Gengras will be performing tonight at Vox (319 N. 11th Street). As I'm sure most on this board know, Ged has consistently crafted a genre-stretching version of ambient, dub, and experimental music for over a decade-largely grounded in (but by no means limited to) his immersion in modular synthesis. His many recordings and performances have been critically acclaimed, and his extensive list of collaborators speaks volumes to his wide ranging and enthusiastic approach to sound and music. I'm honored to claim Ged as a good friend and sometime collaborator, and am thrilled to host him at Vox tonight.
Local faves Hallowed Bells open before Ged.
If you come to the show tonight because you've read this note on the message board, find me and I'll comp you a cold beer, just for being part of the extended modular family here in Philly.
