West Burnside and Pearl District Crossing Improvements

Construction Update: Week of June 15th, 2015

 

The City of Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT), in partnership with the Portland Development Commission (PDC) is working on the West Burnside and Pearl District Crossing Improvements project.  This project will improve the safety and access at key intersections in the Pearl District and Old Town / Chinatown.

Construction Schedule

Below is the estimated project construction schedule for the next two weeks. Construction will move from one site to another as crews’ complete work on each segment.  Please be aware that this schedule is subject to change due to conditions underground, weather, traffic impacts, subcontractor schedules and availability of materials. 

 

Week of June 15th

·         NW 4th and W Burnside – Bore conduit

·         NW 10th and NW Couch – Bore conduit

·         NW 11th and NW Couch – Bore conduit

·         NW Broadway East Side (W Burnside to NW Couch) – Bore conduit

·         NW 13th and NW Everett – Pothole existing utilities, Bore conduit

·         NW 13th and NW Glisan – Pothole existing utilities

 

Week of June 22nd

·         NW 4th and W Burnside – Bore conduit, Excavate and make conduit tie-ins, Construct controller cabinet foundation, Permanent pave storm trenches

·         NW 10th and NW Couch – Bore conduit, Permanent pave storm trenches

·         NW 11th and NW Couch – Drill and Pour pole foundation at the NW corner of the intersection

·         NW 13th and NW Everett – Bore conduit

·         NW 13th and NW Glisan – Pothole existing utilizes, Bore conduit

·         NW Broadway West Side (NW Glisan to NW Davis) – Tie-in to light poles

·         NW Broadway East Side (NW Glisan to NW Davis) – Ties-in to light poles
