Salmonberry Coalition to meet October 9th, 2015 in Buxton, OR

The Salmonberry Coalition is meeting LL Stub Stewart State Park (30380 NW Hwy 47, Buxton) at the Mt. Dale Meeting Hall on October 9th, 2015 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. This is a scheduled annual meeting that is open to the public. The Salmonberry Coalition’s agenda includes an update on the concept planning process, an update on the governance planning, an update on grant projects and an update from the Tillamook Forest Heritage Trust’s capital campaign planning effort.
The Salmonberry Coalition is a stakeholder group consisting of public and private partners focused on the Salmonberry Trail. The Salmonberry Trail is a planned trail that provides a unique 86-mile recreational opportunity, steeped in history, natural beauty and adventure, can connect urban and rural Oregon – the Portland area to the Coast – while tapping into a wide network of existing recreation trail and facilities, educational opportunities and heritage sites.

Note: Parking is very limited at the meeting hall. Overflow parking is located a short hike away at the Hilltop Day-use parking area. Directions to the meeting hall are attached.
