On Thursday relay hunger strikes, road blocks and other agitations for
separate Telangana continued as usual in Telangana districts. In

Andhra Jyothi, Telugu newspaper, 12th March, p.3
Reports such as this appear in Andhra Jyothi almost every day on page
3 unless yet another student has committed suicide in Hyderabad or a
similar event occurs. Forms of protest are novel and innovative, but
peaceful and democratic. They are also highly responsive to the
changing political situation. Speakers from Hyderabad called to
address Telangana meetings in various districts (Prof.Haragopal,
Sandhya (Progressive Organization of Women), Gogu Shymala and
Balalakshmi of OU JAC) have been heard expressing surprise at the
numbers (5,000 in some villages to a lakh at the district level) and
the range (Mahila wing of Brahmin sangham, forums of different castes
and occupations, JAC of teachers of private colleges or Singareni
workers etc.) of people who attend these meetings. Many Telugu news
channels have stopped reporting these protests or do so at odd times.
I am already documenting my opinion to SKC and also blogging it @
