I am a beginner with Trac, I just subscribed and it's the first time I
use this group !
so excuse me if this request has an obvious solution !
I encounter a toppage rendering problem with FireFox.
The pages header is not displayed, including the logo, the search zone
and the
(Login - Settings - Help/Guide - About Trac) links zone.
I use :
- Mozilla FireFox 1.5.0.6 (FR)
- Trac version 0.9.6 under SuSe Linux 10.0
but still have the same problem with the Trac site
(http://trac.edgewall.org) too.
Thanks for your help,
Hammed
Might it be that you use firefox' "adblock plus" plugin?
Deactivate it!
Cheers,
Peter
Thanks a lot!

It seems to me that http://trac.edgewall.org/ looks okay in all major browsers:
http://browsershots.org/website/http://trac.edgewall.org/
Only in a preview version of Internet Exploder 7, the top menu bar
(Home, Weblog, Trac, Genshi, Python Sidebar) is missing:

Disclaimer: Yes, I am the developer of browsershots.org, and this is a
shameless plug. :-)
Browsershots uses Trac for documentation, blog, source code and ticket
management, and Trac is the perfect solution.
Cheers,

Adblock+ has whitelisting.

RFC: Is there a need for the topmost <div/> to bear the name #banner?
IMO banner == advertising
No wonder that it is being blocked by a very generic adblock rule.
As newer versions of Opera & Konqueror already have a adblock mechanism
implemented (although not activated by default), other browsers are
likely to follow. (I don't want to think what will happen if M$ comes
with their "3 years too late, but 105% in return" adblock solution in
IE8...)
Perhaps the <div/> named '#banner' should be renamed to
#title, #trac or #headline?
Cheers,
Peter

Right, but it seems to be a bit buggy. I whitelisted my server (with
trac on it) and visited the trac -> no header.
With a completely disabled adblock-plus the page is displayed as it
should.
Time to file a bug against adblock-plus.
