cutorch: How to specify MAGMA's path with luarocks

I am trying to build cutorch and have it link with MAGMA on a machine
for which I do have root privileges. As such, I have not built MAGMA in
/usr/local, it is in a different location.

I am guessing that if I run:

luarocks install cutorch

It will not be able to find my MAGMA install.

Is there a way I can specify this manually?
