to torch7
Hello there!

I'm using LMDE 2 Betsy (linux mint debian edition), which should be like Debian as far as installing programs.
The default CUDA toolkit that comes bundled with the OS is version 6.0, which is unsuitable for torch7(requires CUDA >=6.5) and so I've tried installing CUDA 7.5 using the .run file provided by the Nvidia site (latest Ubuntu version).
The problem is that I can't get it to install properly! I tried installing just the CUDA toolkit from the run file (the display driver gave me problems and did not work), but when I try to install torch, the building process fails because it thinks I am still using CUDA 6.0 (which i previously uninstalled).
Any ideas on how to solve the problem?
Thank you
