Return value of When* methods that take a HostControl

I assume you mean the Func<> that's passed into the When* methods? Because those methods are of void. I don't believe the return value is used at this point. If you look at ServiceEvents, it notifies an EventCallBackList for the type, and Notify() is also of type void and ignores any returns from the callback it executes. 

Is there something you'd like it to do?
