2018 VEYM Benchmark Assessment

Dearest Chaplains, Chaplain Assistants, Youth-Leader Trainers, and Youth-Leaders:

May the Easter blessing be with all of you.  

As previously mentioned, VEYM will be launching its first ever benchmark assessment to measure our students’ academic performance based on the minimal standards from

VEYM’s Curricula and Weekly Gospel Lessons. All students are encouraged to participate in the 2017 - 2018 benchmark assessment. The National Executive Committee (Ban Chấp Hành Trung Ương) will award the top two students with the highest score from each Division (Ngành) from each participating Chapter.

Additional information and detailed instructions are forthcoming. Please see schedule below for important dates. 

(1) Distribution of Benchmark Assessments– 04/19/2018

Administration manual and assessment packets will be provided electronically.

(2) Proctor Benchmark Assessments– 04/28/2018 – 05/6/2018

Print assessment packets and proctor on the following dates:

-Saturday 04/28 and Sunday 04/29 Or

-Saturday 05/05 and Sunday 05/06

(3) Submit/Return Benchmark Assessments– 05/18/2018

Xerox/scan answer sheets and return assessments electronically (pdf) or request shipping label to return assessments for grading to BCHTU at the email or address listed below.

(4) Awards & Recognition – 05/24/2018

Headquarters office mails out award certificates and honorary ribbons (tua 4 màu) to Chapters.

The National Executive Committee invites all Regional Executive Committees to disseminate the information above to all League of Chapters and Chapters. Please encourage and provide opportunities for all to participate in this important initiative.
