Hello,

I have a few questions about calculating Bremer support with TnT.

Here is how I am doing this:
Input file, increase trees held in memory, Analyze > Suboptimal > set
to retain trees suboptimal by 20 steps, Analyze > Traditional search >
set number of replicates and number of trees to save per replication

after the analysis is complete, I choose Trees > Multiple Tags > store
tree tags

Then I choose Trees > Bremer supports and click ok

After it calculates, I choose Trees > Multiple Tags > Show/Save tree
tags

The output is a tree diagram, with values between 1 and 20? at various
nodes.

Am I calculating Bremer support correctly? This seems like a
convoluted way of going about this.

What does the ? indicate when a support value is '20?' ?

I typically search 1000 RAS, and keep 1 tree. If that is my searching
criteria, then it makes sense that I would retain 1 tree that is
shortest or within 20 steps of shortest. Would it still only keep one
tree? What would be the best way to make sure I have a good sample of
trees within the range of suboptimal trees?
