I had cut and paste working for 1/2 a day and I have never been able to get this feature back. Does anyone else have this problem? Is this a bug?

assuming that the client is on windows (your question was not clear) vncconfig may be needed to be running on the linux box.

Hi Ben,
Thanks for answering my question.  There is a vnc server on the Linux server.  Since it is at my company, I do not know what type of VNC server is running, but I am using TigerVNC to connect.  I have the options selected for "Accept clipboard from server" and "Send clipboard to server" and copy/paste still doesz not work between VNC desktop and Windows.

Is there something that needs to be setup on my end?

Thanks,
Mike

no, it would be server side. when connected to the linux box, open a terminal emulator (xterm or similar) and type 'vncconfig -nowin&' then try copying. If that works, you just need to update your scripts to auto load it.

vncconfig is a helper app that needs to be running in the background on the server to facilitate clipboard transfers.  You can start it from a terminal with "vncconfig -nowin" but often it's most convenient to add it to your window manager's startup application list or to your ~/.vnc/xstartup file.
