AWESOME TIME AT THE AUGUST TPFR BEER TIE!!!!!

Thanks again to everyone that made it to our August BEER TIE at RiRa Irish Pub in Arlington!  We had 41 people join us (4 under the age of 14), and 11 people sat at the beginner's table and tied either their first fly ever or learned a new pattern.  I had the added pleasure of helping Sam fulfill the fly tying requirements of the fly fishing merit badge he is pursuing for Boy Scouts.  We brought in $69 for the club with donations, fly sales and hat sales, and our gracious host RiRa moved a lot of liquid merchandise as well!  It is always such a great joy to see so many of you in one place, and to experience the passion and camaraderie our club is known for.  The next BEER TIE is only a few weeks away so mark the date - Monday, September 12, 2011.
