Approach to store requirements in JIRA and to use Thucydides to read the requirements

Hi,

In this post functional-test-coverage-taking-bdd-reporting-to-the-next-level rahulj51 write:

“A popular approach, for example, is to store requirements in JIRA and to use Thucydides to read the requirements hierarcy directly from the JIRA cards.”

 

Please , help me, how I can do it automaticaly. May be you know some tools for that.

This can be achieved by writing your own custom requirements provider (http://thucydides.info/docs/thucydides-one-page/thucydides.html section 7.3.3) that fetches requirements from Jira.

May be you have some code example how you get information from Jira tickets? 

It would be very usefull.

Yeah, I have some examples of doing this, but I need to find the time to write it up in a blog entry.
