Dear Leandro Salvador,

We would like to thank you again for your active participation and valuable contributions in the DelftX Open Government course!

Are you an administrator, policy advisor, developer, government official or professional in an agency that is interested in opening, governing and using open data? Do you want to obtain knowledge and experience in the area of open data provision and use? Then we invite you to take a look at a follow up course that we will launch on October 24 this year.

This Professional Education course, Open Data Governance and Use, provides insight from scientific research conducted all over the world by experts in the fields of Open Data Governance and Use, and is targeted at both policy makers and open data developers. By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  1. Discuss and analyze concepts, challenges and theoretical foundations related to open data governance and use.
  2. Analyze and apply data governance and use processes.
  3. Analyze open data policies and open data policy and decision making and develop open data policies (track 1).
  4. Analyze tools for open data publishing and use and apply these tools (track 2).
  5. Critically evaluate practical open data cases.
  6. Create scenarios for potential open data cases.
(* During several weeks of the course, participants can choose to follow a track of their choice to go more in-depth. It is also possible to follow both tracks.)

The course specifically examines open data policies, open data infrastructures, data sharing and opening, data use, open data use cases in Europe, America and developing countries, and best practices and recommendations for Open Data Governance based on practical cases.

More importantly, we delve into the tools and methods required to design open data policies and to use open data (e.g. tools for data visualization and analysis). The lectures, assignments and discussions are focused on how the insights from this course can be applied in practice, for instance, to your own job. In addition, this course is an excellent opportunity for you to network with other professionals in your field. The costs for this course are 220 euros.

All the best, and we hope to see you again in the future!

The
 Open Government course team

Correção: fiz esse aí da edX, que é de graça.
Esse outro aí me pareceu interessante mas não tenho condições de investir. De repente, pra quem trabalha na área pode valer a pena.
