Hi, I notice in the tesseract-ocr man page on linux that there is no possibility to select the font of the text in the image.  Is is possible to train tesseract on different fonts so that one could have a command line switch to load in different network configurations relevant to obtaining better results on those fonts?

Many thanks in advance

You can train tesseract for different fonts and save the traineddata as 'dummy' languages

eg.
English language with Times font as eng1
English language with Arial font as eng2
etc

and then use these new languages while running OCR.
